Ashley Faison, born and raised in Pottstown, PA serves as the Advocacy and Volunteer Manager at YWCA Tri-County Area. She is dedicated to issues of education and helping others advocate for themselves, with a track record for fostering a culture that supports both the importance of education and the well-being of individuals. She is Committed to empowering the BIPOC, and general community in service. Ashley has experience in meeting the needs of at-risk students and low-income families. Ashley started her career with YWCA Tri-County managing the Foster Grandparents Program and the Early Head Start Program. Ashley has also previously worked at the Pottstown School District as the Temporary Placement Center Coordinator, and with the school district’s 21st Century Learning Program. Ashley proudly has her BA in social relations with a concentration in criminal justice from the first HBCU, Cheyney University of Pennsylvania.
