Tess Feiler, Equity Training Coordinator, grew up in Lancaster and received their Bachelors in Elementary Education from Lancaster Bible College where they discovered their passion for racial and LGBTQIA+ equity work.
After the murder of George Floyd and Ricardo Munoz, they helped establish the grassroots anti-racism organization SafeHouse Lancaster whose mission was to empower Black and Brown activists and educate the community. In July of 2021, SafeHouse merged under YWCA Lancaster, and Tess joined the Center for Racial and Gender Equity!
In their spare time, Tess enjoys spending time with their spouse and hairless cat, playing dungeons and dragons, and foraging for mushrooms.
